School Information

Severna Park High School is one of twelve comprehensive high schools in Anne Arundel County. The school offers college preparatory, vocational, and special education programs to students in grades 9-12. Statistics from the class of 2002 indicate that 60% of the graduates attend 4-year colleges or universities; 30% local community colleges. For 2001-2002 the total enrollment was 1626 with 404 in the class of 2002 .The school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges.

Community Information

The Severna Park High attendance area incorporates residential communities which serve Annapolis, Baltimore, and Washington D.C. Much of the population is comprised of middle and upper income families. Many heads of households are in professional, executive or managerial positions in business, government, and the military.
